9/16/2025 ATM Update: Thank you for your patience as we have reached a resolution to improve your experience with our off-site ATMs and PTMs. Like you, we were caught off guard by the sudden service failure of our former ATM vendor. And, like you, we’ve been frustrated. We are working to make things right.

Beginning September 16, we’ll start installing seven new ATMs and three PTMs—rolling out two each week through mid-October. By November 1, all upgraded machines will be up and running, ahead of schedule. The best part: these machines are fully owned and managed by 7 17 Credit Union. That means we — not outside vendors— control the technology, security, and protection of your data.

For those who experienced Foreign ATM fees at non-7 17 ATMs from April 1 to September 16, 2025, all of those fees will be reversed, and you’ll see them credited in your account soon. Going forward, all MoneyPass Network ATMs (https://moneypass.com) will be free for our members to use. We are eliminating the $1.50 surcharge fee effective immediately.

PTM & ATM Locations

PTM Locations

You’re busy and we know it. We offer the latest in banking technology, Personal Teller Machines (PTMs), to provide extended hours of service and convenience. PTMs allow members to conduct most transactions that can be completed in branch, with the exception of opening accounts or applying for a loan, which can easily be done online. Use the PTMs in self-service mode 24/7 or work with a Personal Teller via two-way video during our extended hours. Learn more about our PTMs.

7 17 Credit Union’s PTM are available 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

You’re always on the move, so we want to make it easy to access your cash wherever you go. With more than 20 ATMs in Northeast Ohio as well as a network of surcharge-free ATMs, 7 17 makes it easy to access your account on the go. We’re also a part of a nationwide network of ATMs through PLUS^® or MoneyPass^®* ATMs, so there’s always an ATM close by. Please note: there is a fee to use PLUS** machines.

*Some MoneyPass^® locations may not accept deposits at their ATMs from customers of other financial institutions, depending on the financial institution owning the ATM.

**Although you are not charged a surcharge fee, a $1.50 per ATM transaction fee will apply.

Shared Branching

7 17 Credit Union is part of Shared Branching, a fast-growing national and international network of credit unions that allows members of other credit unions to use their branches to conduct basic teller transactions. You can access your 7 17 accounts at more than 5,000 participating branch locations nationwide, at no additional cost. Plus, you can perform almost every type of teller transaction you normally do with a teller at 7 17.

Shared Branching locations offer many or all of the following services to members of participating credit unions:

Make deposits (cash & checks)
Transfer money from one account to another
Cash personal checks from another institution
Obtain balance inquiries
Withdraw funds
Process loan payments and advances on certain loan types

Important: When conducting a transaction at a Shared Branching location, provide the host credit union’s staff your credit union name, main member account number (without suffixes such as - 0050 for checking), and a photo ID. Members of other participating credit unions can likewise perform transactions at 7 17 branch locations.
